Oyster 485/04 - The Oyster
The Oyster 485 was one of Holman and Pye’s most successful designs. Moderate freeboard and a gentle positive sheer give her a timeless and elegant look that compliments her seamanlike qualities. Developed as a safe and secure long range bluewater cruiser and liveaboard, she is nonetheless a lively performer under sail.
This example is an early model, her traditional teak joinery below decks sets off her accommodation that sleeps six in three cabins. On deck her cutter rig and in-mast furling is versatile and easily trimmed.
Having owned her for three years the current owners are looking for a larger Oyster. this 485 would suit a couple or family who are looking for a ocean cruising thoroughbred, that is easy to handle and comfortable.
Lying: South East Spain
