Oyster 62/05 - Dorado
Dorado is the owner’s third Oyster and has remained in her original ownership since new. Commissioned by an experienced sailor, Dorado is set up to be sailed short handed and enjoyed by family and friends, yet she retains a layout suitable for charter if required.
The owner has constantly cared for the yacht, he employed the services of a local (Caribbean) management company to assist with maintenance. During her build, the timber was carefully chosen for all the teak wood to come from one tree to ensure uniformity. The result is beautiful and this extent of detailing is evident throughout the yacht.
The equipment levels on Dorado are second to none. On deck, her powerful rig is easily handled and, below decks, she is luxuriously equipped and complete with all the home comforts one would expect for a discerning owner.
Dorado is now lying in commission at RSYC pontoon in the Beaulieu River. She is being used by the owner during the summer. But can be made ready for handover very quickly indeed.
Lying: UK South Coast
