Stuart from Broadstairs in Kent, has been sailing for about 18 years, he left school and joined the Royal Fleet Auxiliary where he trained as a mechanic onboard Tankers. Stuart has also raced extensively onboard dinghy’s and yachts as well as being a National Champion in one class of yacht.
Stuart has an extensive knowledge of Oyster yachts having previously skippered an Oyster 56 and 655, and crewed onboard the flagship Oyster 82. With over 50,000 nautical miles, 8 Atlantic crossings and being a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster, Stuart is enthusiastic about sailing and loves to share his knowledge. Stuart will ensure that your charter onboard Koluka is safe and enjoyable.
Lucy is a fun and passionate girl who thrives on adventure and meeting new people. Having worked within the hospitality industry Lucy prides herself on the service she offers and will make sure that your experience will be enjoyable and memorable. Lucy has a warm and bubbly personality and will make you feel at ease during your charter. She is also excellent at keeping any children on-board happy.
Since working on an Oyster 56 and Oyster 655, Lucy has gained over 30,000 nautical miles including six Atlantic crossings and has obtained her Competent Crew certificate, Dinghy Sailing RYA Level 1 and 2 and STCW ‘95. She has proved to be a competent sailor as well as a skilled cook. Lucy has also enjoyed racing near her home area, the East Coast of England, and having sailed in the Mediterranean and Caribbean she has extensive knowledge of the local cuisine and sourcing local produce. Lucy has developed her skills with the leading culinary school in Ashburton where she completed the Cookery Diploma and Advanced Cookery Course. Lucy enjoys cooking fresh and healthy dishes, but she also loves to bake, and will offer you a varied and flavoursome menu.
